A Definite Hit!

OK--let me admit right away that I'm not a "kid," I'm in my late 30s. While this book wasn't published for my demographic group, I still LOVED it! The storyline is simple but interesting, and everyone will pick up new facts about the octopus. I've been studying octopuses (the correct pluralization) for several years now, and even I learned new things! And the illustrations are gorgeous, truly capturing the beauty of the deep seas and the wonderful patterns and tones of the octopus. The only drawback to this book is that it's so small!If you get a chance, buy the book in the "special edition" that comes with its own stuffed octopus!This is a definite hit for kids of any age and a great way to introduce a wonderfully smart and interesting animal to people who otherwise would completely ignored it.
