Dashing British stage star Hugh Davidson abandons his heart attack recovery in London to return to Rachael Reed, the love he left behind in New York City. While he's been absent, she has stepped into the role of stage manager at the Classique Theatre off-Broadway, but her life isn't exactly a dream come true.
