Nicely done

I haven't read much by Mira Lyn Kelly, but she did a nice job with this tale. The main characters, Levi & Elise, were interesting, driven, appealing. I appreciated the author's portrayal of Elise; she did not simper, she did not come across as weak or foster expectations that clearly were beyond what was offered. She didn't misunderstand the limitations Levi set on their relationship or set aside her goals and her needs. She maintained her integrity and her pride. Levi drew a hard line in the sand when it came to relationships; he was direct, he didn't lead Elise on or share emotions he was unsure of. I admired both characters and could easily relate to them. I was attracted to the manner in which each character seemed to evolve; re-evaluating their approach to relationships as their feelings for one another went beyond the physical, their ability to explore alternatives when their values, their former positions on issues, no longer served them or their relationship well. I recommend the book, and I look forward to the next in this 2 book series.
