To Be Or Not To Be.

Ever been called a brick wall? I have -- twice. "I make steel for people, but you put steel into people," from the president of U. S. Steel to Vincent Peale. Budda said, "Mind is everything. We become what we think." Winston Churchill relied on quotations and used many in his memorable speeches during the war. His mother was American. He also proclaimed, "Never give up." It is through the wonders of the brain that one knows God, the Creator of it all. The supreme discovery is that we can change our lives by the changing of attitudes. I once composed a complete article on love out of quotes about this honorable profession. Used to write for an online senior newsletter. I think Mike Smith needs to get a life (my quote). All wisdom is not in the past. It's fun to be quoted. Abraham Lincoln is quoted thusly: "Always bear in mind that your resolution to success is more important than any other one thing." This book is composed of a collection of other people's thoughts; the object is to inform others of the thinking of famous and not-so-famous personalities for their contemplation. Mark wrote, "All things are possible to him that believeth." Marian Anderson proclaimed, "Prayer begins where human capacity ends." Many of his favorite quotations come from the Bible or other holy men. Some are from his near and dear relatives. Why, do you think, he felt that someone would be interested in reading about his family? It's just common courtesy to accept such, or pass over those. It is not unusual to write about those you love and want others to know what they are thinking.
