Book Review

A great read if you're interested in how the game of football was run in England in the 1950s and the early 1960s and what it was like to be a professional footballer in this time period.

Heartfelt and moving

Imlach's book is a wonderful recollection of a bygone age and (without being pinched, cynical or critical) shows us what the creep of money into sports has given, and what is has taken away. Heartily recommended to any fan of sports.
