Excellent Cookbook!

I have more than 6 low carb cookbooks, and I've found that is the one I use most. It's absolutely wonderful! I don't have to buy "special" ingredients that I'll only use once or twice, and the recipes are easy to read and to use. I highly recommend this book for people like me who don't want to go to the grocery store with a two-page list for one meal! Best of all...the recipes have a lot of flavor and taste great!

Finally a low-carb cookbook for us non-cooks!!

I strongly recommend this book for anyone new to the low-carb lifestyle. Belinda Schweinhart has thought of everything from where to purchase cooking ingredients to measurement equivalents. All the pancake recipes I've tried in this book alone are far more better than any pre-prepared, overpriced dry pancake mixes .

The recipes are great in both books but...

the binding leaves a lot to be desired. For [the money], they should do something a little better and sturdier. I had to laminate mine and put them in a notebook because the 'spiral bound' end kept coming apart and making it hard to turn the pages. But the recipes are really, really good.
