I grew up never learning to cook. Burnt a lot of pots and pans when I was first married. I learns to make perfect angel food cake and pot roast from this book. It explains why u do this procedure, how long to do something, In other words,nit feels like someone is there beside u taking u thru each step!! Perfect book for a new cook!
