Book Overview

No more flat, pencil-pushing puzzles! This bold book takes mazes to a new dimension. From a pop-up pyramid to a 3-D galactic chase to an electronic circuit that buzzes when you stray off course, this ingenious collection is truly a puzzler's paradise. The mazes have more than one level, but only one tough answer, guaranteeing hours of fun. In addition to spectacular feats of paper engineering, this puzzle pack includes 3-D glasses, a stylus, moving parts, and a raised plastic maze with a rolling bead. Sophisticated enough to appeal to many age groups, this deluxe book is a great gift for dedicated puzzle solvers. This description may be from another edition of this product.

Very Easy Mazes

The age recommendation on the cover of the book is from 4 -6. The mazes are very simply and easy and younger children would be able to do them. My 5 year old flew through the book with no problems. This would have been a good book for him when he was 3 to 4. The book was way too easy for him. However this would be a good first book to introduce mazes. There are 64 mazes in the book and the pages are in color. There is a variety of pictures and scenes that make the book interesting. It's a good very basic beginnger book. Also the review lists the book as having 3-D glasses included. There were no glasses included and I did not see anywhere in the book about the book being 3-D. In the review it states "This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title." I would not purchase the book expecting it to be a 3-D maze book.
