incredible resource

I love this book; it has been an accessible and easy tool to work with. Whether you are a visual person or a verbal person, this book can speak to you. Sometimes I just focus on the drawings which are so engaging to concentrate upon or sometimes I read the text which has many insightful observations. A lot of love and effort has been put into this book.

Love, love, LOVE this book!

I first saw this book at a Borders when I was just researching up Mandalas - and I was totally smitten with it! The author does a thorough job in explaining what Mandalas are, and the different types of Mandalas that can represent basic [or more complicated] human emotions like Love, Anger to Jealously and Wealth. The illustrations are intricate, colorful and so varying - so you can get a lot of ideas on how to create your own. When I saw the Mandala template books out there, they didn't inspire me the same as this book, "Mandalas & Meditations." Instead of just copying, this book will make you excited to create your own, use all sorts of symbols (or make your own) and interpretations. It's also a nice teal color, hardbound and fits nicely on my bookshelf - its definitely a keepsake. I love it and hope you will too. :)
