Morris Rutherford is anxious to win the United States presidential election, in part to keep himself at arm's length from the mounting lawsuits. Across the Atlantic, Shani Bălcescu, an Oxford graduate, awaits the result of her doctorate. Unbeknown to both, Shani and Rutherford are on a collision course.
