Love and Honor and Passion and Intrigue and...

This series gets better with each new book. I generally enjoy Radclyffe's writing, but believe this series is her best. Secret Service Agent Cameron Roberts starts out this one reviewing her actions during the attack on her protectee, First Daughter Blair Powel, during the fiasco at the end of 'Honor Bound.' Cam and Blair are truly lovers by this book, but they are careful with their new relationship, especially when it comes to others finding out. However, they have no choice but to come clean when Blair begins receiving intimate photos and she is featured in the newspaper in a picture that shows her in an intimate embrace with another woman. White House Chief of Staff, Lucinda Washburn is livid about this turn of events. The President is supportive of his daughter and seems to genuinely like Cam. Cam works with FBI agents that were once on Blair's security team to discover who is sending the photos. While they dig, they find more intrigue than they can handle. Rad's characters are three-dimensional and are very well developed at this point. She delivers not only the relationship between Cam and Blair, but throws in a budding relationship between SS Agent Paula Stark and FBI Agent Renee Savard as a bonus. The sex scenes don't get any steamier, the characters don't get more likable, and the plot doesn't get any thicker than this. A must own. Really...

Excellent read - well plotted and written

This series hits it's stride in this novel - there are even fabulous side characters with interesting stories to tell. I did not want to put this book down until finished. This was well paced and very believeable. Also look for the Bold Strokes Books edition published October 2004. This is a Keeper ! Don't miss any of the novels in the series - Above All, Honor Honor Bound Love & Honor Honor Guards Honor Reclaimed

Can't Wait for the 4th Installment

In the 3rd book in her dramatic "Honor" series, best-selling lesbian romance author, Radclyffe, continues the story of Blair Powell and Cameron Roberts. Struggling with her role as both Blair's lover and her Secret Service Chief, the dashing Cameron, is faced with difficult choices. She must balance her duty to protect the President's daughter with her overwhelming need to love her and her desire to allow her freedom at the same time. Set in Washington, DC, San Francisco and New York City, Love and Honor will not disappoint fans of this series. It's Radclyffe at her best--exploring the amazing love between two strong women, mixed with riveting intrigue and suspense. Radclyffe clearly does her homework, as all the details of the life of a Secret Service Agent and the security issues involved in protecting the first daughter, have a realistic feel. Radclyffe creates satisfying, passionate romances, whether writing a romance or a romance/suspense novel. Fans know that the romance is never cheated in a Radclyffe book--it's the core that all other storylines build around.Radclyffe's eagerly awaited 4th installment in this series, Honor Guards, will be released later this year. Giving readers who have yet to discover this gripping series time to catch-up!

Hoping for #4 in a series????

I enjoyed all three of the books in this series, but the 3rd book, Love & Honor, was absolutely terrific. The first two books built the groundwork, and this book carried the two main characters' relationship to a strong feeling of permanence. The physical part of their relationship was nothing short of STEAMY, HOT and ADDICTIVE. But, the emotional part was what kept me turning the pages. I couldn't put this book down. Adding the intrigue of the events they encountered, made this book one of the best I've read. Radclyffe continues to give us strong characters, sensual material, and a thirst for more of her books!

Love & Honor

Love & Honor, the third book in the Honor Series was hard to put down. I was hooked after reading the first couple of pages. The character development is strong, the writing is tight. Cam and Blair, the two main characters, compliment each other beautifully. They are both strong, independent women who are passionate about their beliefs, but at the same time have a soft side that shows compassion and vulnerability. The security team forms a very tight bond and a fierce loyalty to each other, their chief and the woman they have vowed to protect. This bond strengthens as the story progresses into a race against time. This is Radclyffe at her best; action, intrigue and romance. This story easily stands on its own, but if you haven't read the first two books in this series, Above All, Honor and Honor Bound you are missing out on a wonderful reading experience.
