Great Book

Great book, beautifully illustrated, but Pages and chapters all messed up, not in order at all.

It's Interesting

I have purchased practically all of Sloane's books. I love the era about which he writes. This is another great book of his. If you liked any of his other works, you will like this one.

Wonderful View of Weather

Eric Sloane has the most marvelous way of depicting meteorological phenomena using pen, ink, and wash in ways that photography can't touch. Mr. Sloane was a life-long enthusiast and weather-forecasting amateur; thankfully almost all of his weather books are still in print and delighting a new generation. Buy this book!

Look at the Sky and Tell the Weather

Interesting story of how people are affected as a weather mass changes, starting in the Canadian Northwest and crossing each state into New England. This book has interesting stories, not so much dealing with technical aspects of weather. Interesting, entertaining, and easy to read, it provides weather-wise insight into how our world is affected by the world above us. Adults and children will enjoy this book, which by the way, is Eric Sloane's favorite work.

Look at the Sky & Tell the Weather

The author states in the introduction this is the book he was most proud to write. Great stories and the author's pen drawings makes this a most read for those interested in understanding weather. Eric Sloane fans should certainly include this book in their collection. Enjoy. C.
