My son's favorite!

This book is my 16 month son's favorite, and he's been enjoying it before his first birthday. He wants me to read this book for him every day when he goes to bed for a nap or for the night. He loves the illustrations and the holes, and he even has some favorite characters, like the bear and the caterpillar, to which he returns several times. The text is also cute and clever, and teaches him basic concepts. My son not only loves to "read" the book, but also to bend the pages, and I have to fight with him to stop him braking the book. Finally, I've decided to buy him another one, so he can happily bend some pages on the old one. Another great book, which is his second favorite, is "Pick a Who?" by Nina Laden.

Great design and fun to read

This is the second book in the Look & See series that I've purchased (A World of Colors being the other one). I'm extremely happy with both books and so is my 14-month old son. In this one, like with the colors' book, the narrative is great, the illustrations are cute, and the holes in the book are lots of fun for little ones. There are many things I like about this series: -the books are not the cookie-cutter board book size (they are bigger) -the text is particularly clever, and you get more than 4-5 words per page -the illustrations are colorful and attractive I'm surprised at the number of bad board books out there for babies/toddlers. I'm often left thinking I could have written something better. I never feel that way with the books in this series.
