Beautiful adaptation

Today's read: Long Way Down (graphic novel) Jadon Reynolds (adaptation of his verse novel) & Danica Novgorodoff illustrator Will's brother has been shot and Will knows he needs to follow the 3 Rules of the streets: No. 1: Crying. Don’t. No matter what. No. 2: Snitching Don’t. No matter what. No. 3: Revenge Do. No matter what. This is an unexpected ghost story about the struggle of black youth trying to survive the streets and do the right thing. Reynolds original verse novel is chilling and gorgeous. Novgorodoff does it justice in her amazing, hazy, smoky watercolors.
