High school junior Jake loves making movies―and his house could pass for the set of a horror film. His parents have gradually developed a serious hoarding problem. When Jake is assigned to make a documentary for his film class, he thinks his home situation will provide great material. He persuades his parents to let him document a cleanup of the house--which he hopes will be the catalyst his family needs to make a lasting change.
As with many movie shoots, things don't go according to plan. Wrestling with his responsibilities both as a filmmaker and as a son, Jake tries to find a way through the chaos.
