A Canadian favourite!

A Canadian favourite! I used to sing it at nursery graduation with Miss Bonnie at the old YMCA church in Aurora, Ontario, Canada before it burned down. Instead of singing the fairy's lines about disliking the rabbit, I prefer to shorten the fairy's line to "I'll give you (number) chances."

fun book

My 4 year old daughter has loved this book since she was 2! It has colorful fun illustrations and the story is very cute as to how it is to be read. My 5 year old thinks the story is hillarious also. Fun book for all ages and also teaches a lesson on how you should listen the first time and what you think is funny to do to someone else may not be funny to them.

Little Bunny Foo Foo

As a retired elementary teacher, I am always on the lookout for children's books that are funny and illustrated to capture the attention of young children. This book does it all. My 5 year old grandson loved the illustrations and story. We had sung the song previously and he enjoyed the changes - especially the looks on the faces of the animals who were next in the path of Little Bunny Foo Foo's "mud attacks". He especially liked the picture when the Good Fairy, pushed to her limit, (a Good Fairy can just take so much) changed Little Bunny Foo Foo into a GOON!

Great Fun

I have never heard the song. My son, age 3 LOVES this book and I love reading it to him. He is very active and didn't like to sit and be read to...until this book. He loves it, chanting along with me in a sing-song voice. And I don't mind reading it over and over and over and over. The illustrations are a delight and the text is fun. We bought it about a year ago, and our cheap softcover has become very worn and is taped together. I see this book as a "classic" at our house and will be investing in a higher quality hardcover copy. We have zillions of kids books, and this is one of those very few that endure.

Love This Book!

My 2 y.o. daughter loves this book, and its repetitive nature has made it easy for her to memorize and "read" it to herself. Sometimes we send this book along with "So Many Bunnies" and "Daddy's Little Girl" for gifts.

Tons of fun

My barometer for a successful picture book is measured by this: If, when we get to the end of the book, the kids immediately say, "Read it again!", it's a good book. I read this one three times in a row before I was allowed to read another. Little Bunny Foo Foo has always been a favorite song to act out (with a little bunny hand puppet)around my household but Johnson's interpretation and extension of the song is funny and delightful.
