Lilah's List

You never forget your first crush... Dating R&B megastar Reggie Martin was number one on Lilah Banks's top-ten list of things she wanted to do before turning thirty. Now the divorced twenty-nine-year-old was finally going for it. But it wasn't Reggie who came to the door when Lilah and her best friend crashed a private party (another item on The List) at a swanky Manhattan dance club. It was his sexy brother, Tyler. Tyler never forgot the sassy sixteen-year-old...

May old aquaintances be forgot.....

...and Never brought to mind.... Well this book fit in perfectly with the start of a New Year. Alot of people have for whatever reasons let go of past dreams, friends, and lovers. To me this book urged me to look at my own life, what dreams or friendships I have let die. Enter Lilah, recently divorced yet she can't seem to move on with her life. She is in the process of going through some moving boxes and comes across a list of 50 things she wanted to experience in life before turning 30! She has completed about half of the list and wants to complete them...only problem is she turns 30 in two weeks. At the top of her list is to date the guy she had a crush on it highschool. So her and her BFF try to track him down...BUT here comes the twist...she actually finds herself attracted to his brother. Enter Tyler, a man who has been so caught up in obligations that he doesn't realize he has let his own dreams die. Together these two find out what they thought they wanted in life, isn't what they really need or really desire. A longtime fan of Ms. Amos...I greatly enjoyed this book. I urge you to order this book, especially if you have made some New Year's resolutions....a delightful and provoking read for sure!!!!

Wish List

Robyn did a great job with this book. If you saw the movie "Last Holiday" then you will love this book. As I was reading this book that the movie that this book remind me of. A divorce woman who is starting her life over, and while she is moving she runs acoss boxes with old paper or drawing we did when was in high school. Well with Lilah she came across a list that she had started in high school and some of the things on the list she did do, but there was a few more that need to be done and with the help of her best friend she completed the list. The first thing on her list was to go a date with her high school crush, but instead she falls for his brother which at the time she does not see it. Now for me the brother was all that and a bag of chip. Nice, Tall, and wonderful devoted to making sure Lilah is happy. For once he is looking out for himself but it all good. Louise
