Sexy, but dangerous

Robyn Amos' "Sex and the Single Braddock" is the second book (#2) in the series: The Braddocks: Secret Son. This time it is Shondra Braddock's story of love, danger and intrigue that surrounds the Braddock family. Shondra is on a mission, as are the other Braddocks, to discover if their father, Senator Braddock's death was indeed murder instead of an accident. Shondra goes undercover at the last place their father telephoned -- Stewart Industries. Shondra wants to discover if Senator Braddock had ties to someone at Stewart's and if that person knew anything about his death that could shed light on the mystery. While acting on her own, Shondra meets "CJ" who she thinks is just another worker. Shondra and CJ hit it off at the start. Sparks ignite when they accidentally touch one another. Later, they began seeing one another. Neither know the other's true identity. Shondra does not know that CJ is actually the son of the head of Stewart Industries and CJ does not know that Shondra is at Stewart snooping around. Also, as their relationship develops, it does not matter that it is an interracial relationship. Shondra is out for a little fun and CJ begin to think about putting away his playboy ways when they actually start to get serious about one another. There are many obstacles in their relationship. Shondra has to deal with how her brothers, Malcolm and Ty will react when they discover she is not only dating outside her race, but dating the company's head man's son, someone who is next in line for the CEO position. Also, she has to come face to face with the CEO and CJs dad, a man who is not too thrilled about Shondra's and CJ's relationship either. Then CJ when he discovers who Shondra really is has to come to terms as to why Shondra was misleading in the beginning and if there can really be in trust between them. All in all, Shondra Braddock and Connor Stewart are two adults who have a mind of their own as well as feelings of their own. They learn that true love covers all faults and breaks through any color barrier, as well as forgives. "Sex and the Single Braddock" is a powerful love story of trust and understanding between two determined people who will let nothing or no one get in their way of their feelings for each other. A great read Robyn Amos!

Harlequin finally crosses the color line!!!!

This book by Brenda Jackson is an interracial romance that is beautifully written. Erotic sex scenes, excellent storyline, and part of a series of books about the Braddocks. Definitely worth having in your Brenda Jackson collection!

CJ is HOT!!!

I enjoyed every minute of this book. Connor Stewart is hot!!! I loved the way he treated Shondra Braddock. This was a very well-written book. However, the love scenes lacked passion and fireworks. Nevertheless this book was exceptional. You will love it...I promise!!!

Sex and the Single Braddock

In the second book of the series we get to meet Shondra Braddock and Connor Stewart. To know why Shondra is working at Stewart Industries you will have to read the first book. Shondra is the new Chief Compliance Office not only is she beautiful, smart but she is also loyal to her family. Shondra meet CJ at one of the site and unbeknown to her she is actually meeting her boss who is out at the site working with the men which is something he likes do and everybody on the site call him CJ. Once they meet you can feel the instance attraction between which they both try to fight him but I tell when they do get toghether it is something. You are going to love this book and you will not be able to put it down. Thanks Louise

This is the second installment to the 'The Braddocks Secret Son' series. It involves Shondra Braddock and her quest to find out if their father's accident was an accident or murder. In the first book, The siblings find out that their father made a secret business trip and it is connected to something or someone at Stewart Industries. Shonda gets a job there to try and find out what she can about the connection to their Dad. She ends up falling in love with the CEO Connor Stewart. He is fun and as reckless as she has been in her past and the closer they get the harder it is for her to confide in him about her true reason for being there. He finds out the truth before she can tell him from her over protective brothers and all hell breaks loose. You will have to read the story to find out the outcome and it will have you anxious to read the next installment to this series.
