Great fun making your own clocks

My nearly 4 year old son and I really enjoyed making our own clock with this. It has a real clock mechanism (battery powered), hands and foam numbers, which you stick onto your own clock face, made from cardboard (or what you like). You can also make your own sundial and sand clock too. It includes flashcards, but those look confusing as they have words that don't correspond to the time depicted on them (e.g. summertime). If you are buying secondhand, make sure that you are getting the kit and not just the book, as the kit is the whole point of the book, especially the clock mechanism. A little annoying that it goes into Northern hemisphere detail about seasons and months, but what can one do?
