Clear, Direct, Insightful!

This book is clear, and beautifully written. It inspires new love for life. It helps show you the truth within you! I recommend this book to anyone interested in learning something new

GREAT BOOK FOR TEENS

I see that some people think this book is TOO easy. That's what makes it so great... there's no fluff here. Everything is simple and straight to the point. I've read all Tolly Burkan's books, and this is a good intro to his life-changing insights. I have given several copies to teenagers that I know. This is a great gift to give just about anyone, but especially teens. It will help get them on the right track sooner and make the rest of their lives easier.

A True Gem!

LET IT BE EASY is a polished gem of insight and wisdom. It is practical psychology and depth spirituality stripped of pretense and complication. It probably is not a book for the theologian nor the psychologist; it is, however, the book I give to my friends who are in challenging relationships, and my friends who are just beginning to explore the interface between cause and effect, spirituality and creating change. Many books expand on these themes; here they are distilled into an accessible, practical handbook for personal transformation.

An Extraordinary Book

One of my girlfriends got me an amazing present (thank you Cynthia!). It was a small, easy to read book by an author named Tolly Burkan. The book has an appealing title called "Let It Be Easy". I guess Cynthia got me this book because she knew I needed a good dose of `EASY' in my life. Two kids, a part time job, and a demanding (but otherwise nice) husband occupy so much of my time that I have little energy left for myself anymore. This is not a complaint - I wouldn't change a thing. But Tolly's book showed me that I could keep my life schedule, yet still make my lifestyle so much more rewarding. This book is a fast, fun read - but you will want to spend plenty of time on the exercises. The book is strewn with helpful checklists of activities that can be done while walking, cooking or driving. Each exercise is powerful, enjoyable, and leaves me feeling rejuvenated. I just bought two of Tolly's books to give as gifts to other stressed-out moms. It turns out that life doesn't have to be so hard after all. Read this book, and then pass it on to someone you care about. They will love you for it.

It's not that hard to "Let it be easy"...

I loved this book. I litterally finished it the first time in about 2 hours. I just read it a second time in about an hour and a half. It's a wonderful reminder of how great life really is if you just take the time to pay attention and be gratefull for all that you have in life and of course "Let it be easy". This is not a book that is going to cause you to go from being completely lost to "enlightenment" (or perhaps it could) however if you would like a simple book you could pick up anytime and just start reading to really feel good about yourself and life or even to help you get back in touch with your true self I highly recomend this wonderfully simple yet very powerfull read. You won't regret it.
