Great book for teaching ASL classes at community level.

We use this as the textbook for ASL I, II,and II for community level Amercian Sign Language sign classes. It is great! Moves students right along into conversations and easy use! Great pictures and explainations. ASL format, not signed English!

Learning American Sign Language

This is a good book for beginners learning ASL. The illustrations are easy to understand and not only does it provide the signs and meaning it also explains ASL grammar and deaf culture.

Great book

Very easy to understand. Has helped with my class tremendously. I would definitely recommend. Wish I had gotton the DVD though.
