I Love Larry

Yes, you CAN tell a book by its cover. Though I am a mature adult, I was attracted to this book, recommended for 9-12 year olds, by its delightful cover. So I bought it, read it, and loved it. It's breezy, funny and feel-good. And it has a story that keeps you guessing till the very satisfying ending. My wife also loved it and we have already sent it to cousins with two kids. Can't wait to see the movie!

This is an excellent book. Full of talent and originality, you will never look at your dog--or treat him/her for that matter--the same way again! A must read for early tweens.

My aunt and her best friend have written this very funny and very exciting book about a dog who sings rock & roll. His name is Larry. If you like dogs, and if you like rock & roll -- and I love them both! -- then you should should read this book. I know that you will like it as much as I did.

great fun for young readers

Young readers will enjoy this fresh comic tale of a clever dog, with character, who surprises the grown ups in his life and achieves greatness. Nicely structured for elementary school lovers of "chapter books" and imaginative tales, this book is a winner. As a retired reading specialist and grandmother of seven avid readers, I recommend this book for a fun read.

Larry Rocks

This is a great book. In addition to being a lot of fun to read, it is also interesting to hear about the world of rock and roll from a dog's-eye view. I recommend this book to dog lovers and kids who like dogs or rock and roll.
