Completely Amazing

I have read thousands of books so far in my life and spent several years recently as a bookseller... and still there are some books that just grip me and I can't let go of them. This series was like that for me. This series is slated towards teens and I am definitely not in that age group, and I still love this series! I had to buy it for myself after reading the first one in advanced reader form (booksellers get these). I waited for the rest of the series and it was well worth the wait! There are few books I read that have such a blend of humor, action, struggle, magic, wonder, and destiny. You can read this as lightly or seriously as you choose. Jenna has taken me on a journey I wouldn't have had otherwise, and I wouldn't change that for anything!

.. .. at how good this series turned out to be. There are 4 books so far: Keeper of the Winds, Keeper of the Waters, Keeper of the Flames and Keeper of the Earth. The author's use of magic isn't over the top and she doesn't rely on it to carry the story. The anthropologist and historian in me really was fascinated with the detail in each book. I didn't stop reading until I'd had all four books read. I would definitely recommend this book series to any teenager or young adult.

Awesome series

I absolutly love this series and I've read a lot of books. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone. It's the young adult version of Radiers of the Lost Ark, with a female hero! Something that's not very popular in these HarryPotter-esque days. I love this book and I'm sure you will too.

Freaky and exhilarating Series

The book starts off slow and dark, Jenna is very emotional due to the death of her grandfather and her only guardian for most of her life. The book starts speeding up shortly after the Funeral with the introduction of the mysterious and "handsome" stranger Simon, who seems to have more questions then answers for Jenna and Jenna really doesn't want to hear what he has to tell her anyway. then when she finally realizes that the board she found in the attic of her grandparents house is really an important artifact, that if she isn't careful, might cost her, her life! The action starts, and keeps going and going, thankfully there are more explanation on why Jenna's family has the board in the first place. This series will contain a lot of secrets that will need to, and most likely will be unraveled! so hold on to your seats this series is going to be an amazing and amusing ride. But the underlying question is, Is Jenna Solitaire a real person, living out these crazy situations?, and then the magic! is it real or fake? I'm hoping that everything will be more clearer in books to come! get this book you wont be disappointed!

AWESOME!!! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR A NEW BOOK TO GET HOOKED ON AND JENNA IS IT. I TEACH SEVENTH GRADE ENGLISH AND THE BOOK IS ALREADY CIRCLING MY CLASS FAST AND FURIOUS. I LOVE ANYTHING THAT WILL GET MY KIDS TO READ AND IS ENGAGING ENOUGH FOR ME TO ENJOY READING AS WELL! GREAT JOB! CAN'T WAIT TO READ KEEPER OF THE WATERS!
