awww I love kittens

Karen finds a cat in her toolshed that gave birth to 5 baby kittens and they are so adorable! Karen gave them names and loves to play with them and she really wants one of her own but watson says no. So karen tries to find homes for them and after a few false attempts, she did it. I still wish she could have kept one of the kittens though, her dad's cat Boo-boo would eventaully die and they would have had a free cat anyways, and for someone who's father is mega-rich he sure doesn't let those kids by a lot of stuff, crying shame!

I love kittens, meow!

I bought this book during it's release in 1992 when I was 9 years old and a huge fan of Ann M. Martin's books. I loved Karen's Kittens because it was well written and it made me want a kitten of my own too. Karen finds a stray cat in her shed and she had 5 kittens and then karen tried to find homes for them though it took her a long time. A really good read, I recommend it.

Take me home with you

Karen's kittens is an realistic fiction story about a young girl who finds a stray cat in her toolshed. What makes her really excited is when she finds out that the cat is going to have kittens! When they are born she sends out birth annoucements. Karen picks out five special names, Tippy,Rosie,Ruby,Pokey, and last but not least, Bob. Sadly, she can't keep them, not even one. So,now it is time to give the kittens away. Finding five perfect homes for five cute, cuddly and playful kittens will not be easy. But, Karen is determined to try her best! So, she brings in pictures of them to school. Everyone loved them. But will their parents say yes to have one? I loved this book so much I read it over and over again. I learned that kittens aren't as easy to take care of as they look, and they grow up really fast into adult cats. I would recommend this book for anyone thinking about getting a cat. It takes a lot of responsibility to take care of an animal.
