Overkill but it works

This book had some details that you really don't need to know for the Biology SAT Subject Test, and its practice tests are misleading. But if you study it, you're safe. I took AP Bio last year (test in May) and took the SAT Subject Test in June without studying specifically for it or reviewing anything. I got a 690. I just took it again (end of January, so I had forgotten a lot of the material from AP Bio) after studying this book and got myself a 790. This book got me my 790...it's good. Edit: I forgot to add this before, but the comment below that says it only has one practice test is wrong. It's got a diagnostic test at the beginning (not really a practice test but pretty long still) and two practice tests (you can choose E or M for both).
