Perhaps I've read too many mysteries, but the plot was not surprising. This one disk of the CD kept skipping and stopping; consequently, I didn't hear disk 7.
Too much.

I've stopped reading J. A. Jance's Joanna Brady novels. The reason for this is the hackneyed portrayal of a woman in law enforcement. A second reason, to a lesser degree, is Jance's habit of suddenly, for no reason, dropping a person's full name in the middle of a sentence, and she does this repeatedly.
I mean, said person has been introduced and described early in the book, we know who he/she is, and don't care what the entire name is.
