An Introduction to Soul Transcendence

John-Roger founded the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness in 1968. Its purpose is to teach Soul Transcendence. John-Roger describes the path of Soul Transcendence as, "The journey of your Soul is to return to an awareness of and a oneness with God." When reading "Journey of a Soul" I learned that the real movement takes place from within ourselves. A lot of the evolution of our souls comes from dealing with karmic debts and learning how to avoid creating new ones. I found this section to be very interesting and thought provoking. We tend to accrue a lot of karmic debts just with our attitudes about certain situations that are occurring in our lives. By learning from our experiences, we can move on and not have to recreate the same situations over and over again. A large part of this can involve not getting involved with other people's situations so that we don't take on their lessons. Also releasing old habits, attachments and negativities sets us free. This prepares us for our next incarnation. I found "Journey of a Soul" to be an incredible book. Much of the author's suggestions are really not that difficult if we become more aware of our actions and our words. I look forward to applying what I learned to my life starting with today. I think that journaling will greatly enhance this process.
