Joshua: God's Liberator

This study book for small groups connects the physical taking of the Promised Land, but also how Joshua changed the spiritual landscape for the Children of Israel. What once was a sun or moon worshipping area, was transformed by Joshua into a Yahweh-fearing community. The property was not as important as the people. God who gathered his people on eagles' wings wanted them to possess property but also himself. God wanted to "companion" with them, to share his love, grace, mercy and "rest." The study book shows how God keeps his promises, and never gives up on the faith paupers among Jacob's offspring. It is a redemption story.
