Book Overview

From a New York Times bestselling author, a recent widow falls in love with life again, thanks to the help of her guardian angel-her late husband. Now a feature film starring Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler.

Holly and Gerry were childhood sweethearts-soulmates. And then the unthinkable happens. Gerry's death devastates Holly. But as her 30th birthday looms, Gerry comes back to her, leaving her a bundle of notes signed 'PS, I Love You'. One for each month of the year. The man who knows her better than anyone is set out to teach her that life goes on.

With the help of her friends and family, Holly finds herself laughing, crying, singing, and dancing-life is for living, she's realizing-and it helps if there's an angel watching over you.

Great read for people going through a death of a loved one

Loved this book. Also read "Postscript". I highly recommend people that are going through a death of a spouse/child or loved one that suffered from a depilating disease read these two books. They are great reads to help you get through some of the rough parts. She's an amazing author.

PS, Not a fan.

I felt rushed through this book, I wanted the slow painful heartache she felt and it just didn’t do anything for me. This one-for me at least, I felt like the movie was better.

Holly is a great, true-to-life character. The reader...

Wonderful Read!

My friend had borrowed this book before me and finished in one week and told me I just had to read it... Now I know why! I loved this book not only because it had a great story line, but it also really draws you into the book. The characters all have their own unique personalities. This story is not only heartwarming but I guarantee it will stay with you even after you had read the book! The book really gets you to identify...

A journey in life

Cecilia Ahern is extremely talented and creative. This book caught my eye in the bookstore - and I thought why not try a new author. After reading PS I Love You, I was thrilled with my decision. At times I found myself laughing out loud and at other times, her poignant writing style left me in tears as one walks through this emotional journey with Holly - the main character. I am eagerly anticipating her next novel Rosie...
