If we consider the eras of the superpowers in the history of mankind, from the Pharaohs or the Mesopotamians, we understand that it does not follow a common thread and the once great civilizations are now on the periphery of the modern world. Eridu, Akkad, Ur, Assyria, Egypt, Babylon, Persia, Greece, Rome, Byzantium, Caliphates, great European empires, Russia, USA.... Don't they have any nation in common? Or do they? - One, the nation of Israel or the Jewish people, the House of Jacob, that offspring that was promised to Abraham, through his wife Sarah, with his son Isaac and from whom came Jacob or Israel. When Babylon was the center of the world there they were, in Egypt also and the rest of the kingdoms and empires that have succeeded them. From Ur of Chaldea, through Haran and Persepolis to New York, only one nation has been at the center, Israel. If God were to use a people to bring his Word (the Bible), also Redemption and announce future events, this people should outlive the others and so it has been: "and his name is engraved on the witness of history... the God of all Nations... the God of Israel".
