Hard hitting action in a welcome new voice

This is the second of a trilogy known as the COMCON Wars; the first was #262: Trigger Point. The action doesn't sag in the middle (as so often happens in a second book), but continues its pulse-pounding, Nazi-stomping, pop-culture-referencing pace. Mack is up against his strongest enemy yet, one with both political and physical power, and his Everlasting War takes a new turn. This is a book that was written by a fan of the original series, and it shows in his attention to detail and his characterization. Don't miss this one; you'll miss out on one of the best adventures Mack has had in a long time, and one that hints at changes to come.
