A beautigul and poignant romance

It has been seven years since Trev Montgomery's heart broke. Now the court ruled his missing wife Diana dead and he knows he must move on with his life. Changing coasts is a start and tossing his wedding band into the Atlantic hopefully provides closure, but Trev doubts it. In Georgia, Trev believes he sees Diana in a hotel welcoming his business. She runs, but he stops her. However, she insists her name is Jennifer Hannah. In actuality, she recognizes the man she once loved and married in a former life in California before the U.S. Marshals changed who she is forever. Jennifer informs Trev that she is a call girl, but one kiss tells him that she is his Diana. INTIMATE STRANGER is an enjoyable romantic suspense novel that showcases two lead charcaters struggling with their pasts. The story line requires acceptance of a pivotal coincidence, but it is so well written readers will not care. If the "Protection" program actually works the way it split this couple, perhaps it needs reinvention, but in the capable hands of Donna Sterling, it makes for a fabulous tale that the audience will enjoy.Harriet Klausner

Classic Romance with a new age twist. READ THIS ONE!

I only read Harlequin books occasionally, HOWEVER, I started this heart wrenching novel and I could not put it down. Jennifer (Diana) is in the Federal Witness Protection Program and had to leave the only man she has ever loved just to protect him. She thought she would never see him again, until Trev showed up in the town they visited on their honeymoon, the place that neither of them had ever forgotten. Jen moved their to be close to her memories, Trev did the same. The first time Trev had seen her in 7 years and he would know her any where. Her appearance may be different but he recognized her on the deepest level possible, as his woman, his mate, his one and only. You'll never believe the twists and turns and the heart warming story. Classic romance with a new age twist. Do not let this one pass you by!
