This Reprint presents ten contributions on recent advances in intelligent vehicular networks and transport systems, addressing data management, security, privacy, and communication in high mobility environments. Security and data integrity are explored through blockchain-based video management and distributed ledger positioning for vehicle swarms. Additional works cover drone-assisted truck platooning, network slicing for vehicular communications, safety applications for vulnerable road users, and hierarchical deep reinforcement learning for pedestrian collision avoidance in autonomous driving.
