Two-month-old Sugar is a pink teacup pig, and soon, she has to leave her birth mother and siblings to go to a new home. Little Sugar is scared and doesn't want to leave, but her birth mother comforts her and tells her to get ready for her new family.

The family includes two young girls, but Sugar complains that she looks nothing like them. They'll never be able to get along! It turns out, though, that the girls are actually very sweet and like Sugar right away.

Sugar notices that the two girls look nothing like their mother because they were adopted, just like Sugar. They come from a country far away. The little girls were scared once, too, but they've found love and happiness in their new home, even if the whole family doesn't look alike. Now, it is Sugar's turn to be welcomed, and she couldn't be happier.
