The book was OK, but I didn't like ICQ

I love the Dummies books. However, I did not enjoy the ICQ service. The chats I tried were dull, weird, or both. I finally decided there was no intelligent life on the ICQ world and beamed the application into the recycle bin.

good book -- found it very useful

A little bit too much hand holding in places, but I got a lot out of tis one. Didn't know you could do this much in icq.(the other reviewer was wrong -- there is an icon list in the cheat sheet at the start of the book.)
