In 1996, 8th Septembor, Sri Joydip released his poetry magazine "Subhadip" and wrote "Sucharita, I will meet you again". The poem become very famous as one of the orginal love poems . Followed by it, In 1997, he wrote "Feeling the Universe in the point" his first spiritual poetry which was highly praised by the poetic genius of that time . After that, he went for long break which he says, that mundance requirement took over his poetry and it was almost a dark period of poetry where his poetry has almost died, where he could not write any longer . In February 2008, he came back with a conviction, that he will not let his poetry to die and let it be washed away by mundane requirements of life . His first writing reflected the same message "I don't want my poetry to die" and started publishing poetry in his poetry blog . Now there are several of them which he list together to write his first poetry book "I don't want my poetry to die".
