Let go and live

Richard Moss helps us understand how letting go of our pain, our crisis and moving forward can eventually lead to healing. Healing starts from within and gradually moves on to the physical. One might not be 100% healed but one has hope that one's suffering is not in vain. By this process one doesn't continually feel like the victim, like being attacked but one takes the power of the illness and decides what one will do with it. This is not a cure all but an oppotunity to go beyond the pain and relieve stress in one's life. Growth is the only evidence of life and when pain and illness enters into your life one can choose to grow or be left to wither and die. Other books for your consideration. Excellent, easy to read, challenging and useful

I gave this book away and deeply regret it - Dr. Moss's writing is compassionate, direct, and engaging. During my second bout with cancer this book provided many useful tools to deal with everything from preparing for the surgery to dealing with the doctors and staff. The book includes suggested meditations, music to listen to, & writing excercises. I often wish I had this book to go back and refer to - or at least to lend to friends who are facing a life-challenging illness. Get it and keep it!
