An excellent book

This is one of the best books available on Hindu culture. It explains just about everything one needs to know, and clears up a lot of misconceptions. The writing is straightforward and simple, in a way that anyone can understand. A brilliant and highly recommended book.

An excellent introduction

This book, on Hindu Culture, by the present President of the Chinmaya Mission is an excellent introduction, mainly for young people of Hindu faith, Non resident Indians [NRI] and those students who would like to learn about Hinduism in the west...Note that this is not a book on Hindu philosophy or religious literature for which many excellent books are in the market...The term culture for Hindus ,however, includes much of religion , besides art, music, poetry, sculpture, and so on....The author has written in simple english, in a balanced way, without too many sanskrit or philosophical terms....In all a brilliant introduction to be kept in homes and in schools.

Hindu Culture

This book is a great book for all people to read and get to know a little more about Hindu Culture. It answers some of the most common questions and helps to separate fact/myth. The book is written in English, so language is no barrier. It also helps a great cause, The Chinmaya Mission.
