It would seem hard to say anything new about Henri IV given how many biographies have been written about him, but I feel like Beyrou gives us a slightly different slant on his life that for me was very enjoyable and enlightening. For example, his analysis of Henri's conversion gives some real insight into the heart and mind of a king whose "sincerity" has been debated for centuries. His discussion of the king's court talks about his fools and his relationship to them, not a subject usually covered. It's highly enjoyable reading, peppered with quotes from his primary sources and written in a lively, immediate style.
