Great quick read!

I purchased this book because I wanted something light. What a fabulous book the author has dome a great job of jumping right into the story line. She also moves it along at a good pace and captures the characters emotions to where you feel the pain and joy. Also she develops all the characters so at the end you're not left wondering what happens next.

Loved this book!

This book was so awesome that I could not put it down! I enjoyed reading about New York society and the interesting lives these people lead. This book draws you in, and you feel like you are right there with the characters. Tatiana Boncompagni is a talented writer. I also loved her book Gilding Lily. I hope they make a movie out of these two books. I am anxiously awaiting her next book!

So delicious it should be fattening

Hedge Fund Wives is one of those books you can't put down once you start reading. The world Tatiana Boncompagni describes is ridiculously exclusive, but I devoured every 14 karat detail. Hedge Fund Wives is the perfect plane or beach read that will take you out of your life and plunk you into a diamond studded world you can hardly believe ever existed (does it exist still?). It's fun escapist entertainment, which was exactly what I was looking for when I picked it up. If you're looking for a juicy novel, you won't be disappointed.

Brilliant Prediction of What Would Happen to the Uber-Greedy!

I received Hedge Fund Wives only a few days ago and read through it in less than two. Considering the author had the foresight to write this BEFORE the markets went sour and BEFORE the Bernie Madoff mess, the predictions of what life would be like for the Uber-Rich (Not bad compared to the middle or lower class, but definitely affected) was spot on. Let's get real: The mega-rich will never be mega-poor, financially. But look inside that one dimensional house of dollar bills and you'll see the same insecurities, jealousy, back-stabbing and ambitious goals as those of any class. Hedge Fund Wives bridges the gap and makes it known that no matter how many zeros follow the numbers in your bank account, the same human desires are there.

Juicy page-turner about the 5-carat set

I have been waiting for weeks for this book to be released, as I loved "Gilding Lily." I was not disappointed! Ms. Boncompagni provides the insider gossipy tidbits and details that make this genre of chick lit so fun. There's also a compelling story line and a sympathetic lead character. Ms. Boncompagni has a sense of humor about the world she describes and I laughed out loud many times. Having read both this book and Jill Kargman's "Ex-Mrs. Hedge Fund," I would say that this one is funnier, better written, and has more heart. I only wish it were longer! (I'm not giving 5 stars because I'm trying to be more discriminating in my star system - 5 stars should be reserved for Jane Austen).
