Sexy

After trying to cut off her life force from Satan by connecting it to a fish (and failing), Becca is definitely in hot water. Especially since Satan is having none of that. After spending 100 years as Satan right hand ...err..WOman...and having to pretend to not adore any but the big guy, Becca want's out. As punishm...oh, I mean, in Satan's kind and understanding way, he has placed Paige (Becca's replace...I mean, apprentence) with Becca to be trained. Paige is the embodiment of innocence/cheerleader. This with the help of Nick--out to save his baby sister by killing Satan...oh, wait a minute...if he kills Satan wouldn't that kill Becca???.....well, that's not going to go down well....hmmm, interesting times, interesting times. I love this series! It never fells to make me laugh out loud. I don't understand why it doesn't have more reviews.

this is a great series, I got the 1st book from a friend and got hooked. read them all now, waiting for the new book. Rowe's books takes all the scary bump in the night creatures and puts a new twist on her stories mixing romance, mystery, the unknown then she adds her own little funnies to make her work original.

Sexy, funny, tantilizing escape...

I began my love affair with Stephanie Rowe after reading the second book in her series, Must Love Dragons. After completing that book, i quickly ordered the next book in the series, He Loves Me, He Loves Me Hot, and then after that, Date Me Baby One More Time. Stephanie Rowe has the amazing talent of taking her readers away from the everyday and painting a flawless portrait of fearless bad girl heroines in a world of fantastic otherworld beings. The novels in this series take place in present day New York, and Rowe has manged to seamlessly intermingle the ancient world of dragons, curses, and sorcery into what might otherwise seem like everyday life. Her heroines are real enough (or unreal enough) to be one of your best friends, and her heroes are sexy enough to be one of your best dreams. Although the situations may be something out of this world, the root of the conflict tends to be something we can all relate to... finding a perfect match in the middle of your crazy, chaotic, oh so busy and very important life. The humor in these novels has me laughing out loud repeatedly. Although I began this series backwards, I quickly fell in love with her characters and couldn't imagine not continuing their tale. I can't wait for her next book, Sex & The Immortal Bad Boy, to hit the stands!

delightfully devilish paranormal romance

Nick Rawlings is the last known surviving Markku, a race of fighters that fled Satan for freedom only to be destroyed. In fact Nick is actually a half-breed who currently is watching over a frozen part of Satan Jr. When his half-sister Dani calls saying they will kill her unless he kills Satan, he ignores her until he realizes something is wrong. When he goes to her place, he finds her unconscious inside of some sort of bubble that he cannot penetrate. He knows his only hope to save his sibling is to find a Rivka servant of Hell to assist his assassinating Satan. At a club, Nick meets Becca Gibbs, the most infamous of the Rivka and her apprentice Rivka Paige. He offers her a deal that if she helps him on his quest to save his sister; he will help her get free of Satan. Becca accepts as she wants to live eternity away from Satan's control though she knows that her life-force comes from his being so the king of Hell must live. As they work together neither can resist the lure of the other. The third devilish paranormal romance (see MUST LOVE DRAGONS and DATE ME BABY, ONE MORE TIME) is a lighthearted romp that adds much to the Rowe mythos with two major Hellish races revealed. The story line is lighthearted frolic yet filled with plenty of action while the lead couple goes from one adventure to another as they fall in love; an unheard of emotion for residents or offspring of Satan. Fantasy romance fans will enjoy the latest amusing battle of the souls (soulless?) on hell and earth. Harriet Klausner

Becca Gibbs' main desire in life is to be free of Satan. She's tired of being his pet Rivka, but since her life force is tied to him, getting free is somewhat problematic. Because of her dependance on him for her continued existence, as much as she might like for him to die, when a plot to kill Satan and put Satan Jr. on the throne of Hell arises, Becca has to stop it. She finds herself working with Nick Rawlings, who is half demon, but descended from beings who freed themselves from the evil one long ago. He needs to kill Satan if he wants to save his sister's life, but he finds himself falling for Becca, so neither option A or B is good. Besides, Satan Jr. makes dad look like an unfallen angel. If this whole situation were not hellish enough, there's a perky apprentice Rivka tagging along who is the personification of every bad cheerleader stereotype. Becca and Nick are in a completely impossible situation. That's when miracles can happen. ***** C.S. Lewis advised that one of the best ways to fight the devil is to laugh at him. In that vein, this book is a very good weapon, making Satan utterly ridiculous and pathetic most of the time. Granted, it's not the best theology, but it's a fun read. Becca and Nick's dilema is heart-wrenching and suspenseful, but perfectly balanced by the laugh out loud comedy. This series is a hoot. I'm glad to see it will continue. *****
