Favorite book ever!

This book definitely gave me a new perspective on life. One that isn’t talk about in church but should be. One that most don’t want to know. Every christian who faithfully serves Christ needs to read this book; there is a reality outside our comfort zones.

Would not recommend for those who are not rooted and grounded in Christ

Harrowing account of escape from witchcraft. I loved this book… some parts are hard to read what this young lady went through but very enlightening and inspiring

Amazing Eye Opening Read!

This book is not for everyone, not even for everyone who considers themselves Christian. It covers matters that most people are uncomfortable with and may not accept. However, if the Spirit of YAH has opened your eyes to the actual state of things then by all means read it. If you want some hardcore Truth about where we are in this and the spirit world...read it. If not don't bother.

Eye opening

This book changed my life. I only recommend it to people when the holy spirit tells me to.

I came across this book through a website of Christian testimonies. He Came to Set the Captives free is by far the most powerful story testified about God that has ever impacted my life. It changed me and opened my eyes on spiritual warfare in a way I've never understood before. It gave sense to what I was going through at the time. I believe God interceded and brought Rebecca's book to me in order to open my eyes. In fact, at that time I was in spiritual bondage but wasn't sure `at best' state I was in. Now I am no longer a captive of the enemy, but free like a dove. All my thanks to the Lord! Hallelujah!! It is simply written in a language everybody can understand unless you fall in the category of Acts 28:27 NLT of the Word of God (Holy Bible) `For the hearts of these people are hardened, and their ears cannot hear, and they have closed their eyes--so their eyes cannot see, and their ears cannot hear, and their hearts cannot understand, and they cannot turn to me and let me heal them.' Overwhelmed with answers to all my personal questions, what God has been doing in her life testifies to how caring and awesome God is toward us, His children. Her books bring revelations and insights for all of those who hunger and thirst for spiritual knowledge, the truth and reality of spiritual warfare. WARNING, BEFORE YOU READ THIS BOOK

If you're a new Christian ( a baby Christain) or, a Christian whose been a mediocre Christain from a plain church or, a Christian that knows there is a devil/demons but take it sort of lightly or, a Christian living in sin or luke-warm, YOU MAY BE VERY DEVASTED AT THE INFORMATION IN THIS BOOK!After reading it don't get so mad at Rebecca, she's a person trying to relay a message that is literally against the kingdom of darkness, so expect the enemy and his colleaues- even know-it -all Chritians, to make her every move look like she's mentally ill. She's a human and has stepped out on faith to tell THE BODY OF CHRIST AND PEOPLE WHO ARE ESPECIALLY TRAPPED IN SATANISM and think there is no way out (because they signed packs with the devil),....that the devil is real and is trying to kill, steal, and destroy our walks and lives and that we do have power against satan and his demons if we are believers to get back to God and walk with HIM.If she does not sound 100% accurate at least try to understand what she is trying to relay.If she does seem mentally ill is:* Noah for making an ark, telling people God is going to flood the whole earth?* Is Abraham mental for going to sacrifice his son,? * or lots wife turning into a pillar of salt?* or Jesus spitting on someones eyes to allow him to see?* or a very plain man from no religion, being born on earth claiming that he's the king of the Jews that they've been waiting for all those centuries.* or Paul saying the voice of God was talking to him as he walked up the road and that the voice was Jesus who suddenly blinded him and told him that he would soon be preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ* or Stephan being killed for preaching about Jesus and at the time of his stoning he's telling the peole who'se stoning him that he seeing hosts of angels-as the heavens are openng up to himand moreand all these incidences would be considered by mentally ill people if it were today(Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever)I guess a lot of Christians still don't know God's personality.....but the personality that THEY want Him to have.During the time of Rebecca and Elaine being attacked by these satanist, witchs etc, as usual, there was hardly any support from the church, the body of Christ-to at least pray for her/them because of the gross attcks. Face it, if you're called to expose the kingdom of darkness, satan is NOT going to attack you with a little switch from a tree branch, he's going to try and take you and your family out (kill, destroy-any way possible) if he finds a way because you're comming against his turf.The devil WILL try to have his demons put sicknesses on you if you're trying to walk with God or have a mnistry such as this, but that's when the Christians-The Body of Christ was/is suppose to be praying and interceeding for Rebecca brown and her health, and her mentality during a ministry such as this. This book is NOT fiction !!!

This book came into my life after a year of being harassed by evil. I was NOT into the occult, but moved into a house previously owned by those that were. I did not know Jesus Christ at the time, nor did I fully believe in the Holy Bible. Our Lord sent a friend into my life to tell me about the awesome power Jesus has over Satan and his demons. She bought me a bible and I began reading it. They attacked me ten times worse! I was terrified. (Satan uses fear to keep you from the truth) Later, my friend handed me Rebecca Brown's book. I sat and cried as I read it. She wrote many many things I was living EVERYDAY! These people that call it fiction, I pray you will never be attacked as I was.....because you will change your attitude. The Lord used this experience not only to show me I was "wrong" in my beliefs, but also to train me how to be a warrior for Christ. Rebecca's attacks during her book were due to training experience, and if you read them all, you will see that she learned well from the Lord. Some comments state she made up things as she went along, and some in the craft state she has it all wrong. The way some occultists practice are different from others. Satan uses a method that will work for you. There are no two people alike. Those that oppose this the most I have to question why? Has she hit on something that woke you up to the truth? Some are saying that the werewolves she talked about are false. How do you know that? I've read many other books by ex-occultists that said werewolves are used for extreme discipline. After what I experienced myself with evil spirits, I will NOT say that Rebecca Brown's book is a fraud. The truth is always attacked by those that are against it. Take the Holy Bible for instance. I used to "attack" it myself....because I was ignorant of the truth and didn't care to find out at that time. The Lord made sure I found out, and let me tell you folks.......Jesus is LORD. Those of you reading this that are in the occult....ask yourself why Jesus is the only one hated by you? Why isn't Mohammed, Buddha, or Krishna hated? Why is Jesus mocked and called the deceiver in hard rock? No other name is mocked by those in the occult. Ironically......that is the very name that can save them from the life of fear. You know longer have to watch your back in fear of those in your own kingdom. The kingdom of Christ is peace, love, and joy. His burden is light, and He became a WILLING sacrifice for you. Do you know anyone else that would do that? I urge others to read Rebecca Brown's book. Through her experiences and the Lord leading her to write it.. ...I was set free from a previous curse that made me think I'd lost my mind. Now I've read hundreds of testimonies like mine. The church is waking up. It's about time.

Rebecca Brown did an outstanding job!

I don't believe that there is a more controversial text out there involving spirituality other than the Bible. Rebecca Brown did an excellent job on telling how she helped set a captive of Satan free with the help of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Not only does she tell what they endured, but she also tries to help tell others what they should do should they have to encounter that type of spiritual warfare. Jesus has set his captives free! Hopefully more people can read this very excellent book, to be released from the bondage of Satan, and to learn more about our Savior, Jesus Christ.
