Quick service and better than I expected!

I received my book VERY quickly and it was in better condition than I expected it to be in! I am enjoying the study, too, and appreciate that I got the book for such a low cost.

Good insight

This book was the first Kay Arthur study that I have ever done. If followed closely, the reader will have read the book of Daniel many times over during the course of the study. While I don't agree with all of her conclusions, her book provides plenty of good insight into Daniel and his times. If you are looking for a small group study on Daniel, I would recommend this book, but be warned, the discussion questions for the group are pretty elementary once you have studied the lessons during the week. Granted, I did not have the teacher's guide, which may have been designed to better supplement the material in this book. I wound up spending a lot of time developing a lesson each week. This would be a very good book for an individual study.

Daniel makes a great Bible study

Kay Arthur lays out this succinct workbook on Daniel just the way I like it - with a week's worth of assignments in each chapter. She also includes a "thought for the week," some helpful history, and several clear historical charts. This book is part of the "New Inductive Study Series" and is written as a survey course. Look to her Precept Bible Studies if you want a more in-depth study. I recommend this book as a helpful guide to the Old Testament book of Daniel.

Wonderful Study!!

WOW! I had never read the book of Daniel, other than the stories (lion's den, etc). This book really made me get into the meat of the word. I learned so much about the Bible. I had never realized the prophecy that was in Daniel, and I was just amazed by what I learned. This is definitely my favorite of the IIS books so far.

This Book Will Get You Excited About God

This is the first book I read in the International Inductive Study Series, and it is my favorite! If you are not a regular student of God's Word, this is a great tool to get you into the Bible in just 15 minutes each day. The assignments are short and simple, yet Kay causes you to ask questions that will impact your understanding of the text. I knew that Daniel was prophetic, but I had no idea that there was so much more in this book than prophecy. This man Daniel was precious in God's eyes, and I want to be like him! But the prophecy portion of the book is amazing, too. I highly recommend that you get a "feel" for the content of Daniel before moving to something like Revelation. When you read and understand the prophecies of Daniel, and you realize that this book is indeed a blueprint for biblical prophecy, and when you realize that history has followed this blueprint to the letter, you'll most probably find yourself on your face, praising God for His wonder and for His magnificent Word.
