Needs a Trim

This story could’ve been great, if it weren’t for all of the useless subplots. Trim out the subplots and you’re left with a literal page turner. I couldn’t wait for it to be over.

Not a “tight” read at all

Starts off great - we’re introduced to our mysterious killer within the opening pages. The first third of the novel was excellently packed with detail and questions that anxiously needed answered. Well, the book takes its sweet….old….time getting to those answers. But first! Let’s stop off in New York, let’s go back to London, let’s introduce characters from the ghetto, let’s go to the symphony a few times, throw in some unnecessary guerrilla warfare, and then 3/4 of the way in, hit us with “Part 2” of the story and choke us with a handful of new characters that quickly become irrelevant, as we close in on a too-quiet climax with the killer. If you are into 5-mile-an-hour slow burners, this is for you. Zzzzzzz

This is what I called heart stopping mystery!

This book by Jack Curtis could be his best ever. With all the breath taking action you'll read it over and over. It will seem like the murderer is lurking around every corner trying to get his next victim. If you love murder mysteries you'll want to add this thriller to your collection
