Fritz Griebel was a painter, a paper cutting artist and a graphic artist. Within his estate, the more than thousand pieces of papercuts are the largest genre. For the first time, this catalogue shows a condensed summary of the artistic skills of Griebel's papercuts. These papercuts have been selected by Ludwig Sichelstiel (art collections of the city of Nuremberg) and Antje Buchwald (estate administration for Prof. Fritz Griebel) for the art collections of the city of Nuremberg and have been given as a donation by the estate administrator for Prof. Fritz Griebel, Oberruesselbach.
