Do you struggle with unforgiveness?
When speaking to the Pharisees in John 10:10 (NIV), Jesus said, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." The King James version translates the latter end of this verse as, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." The abundant life in Christ includes knowing we are forgiven from our sins. The Bible also admonishes that if we want God to forgive us, we must forgive others. This book will discuss the harmful effects of unforgiveness spiritually, physically, emotionally, and socially and how an unforgiving spirit negatively impacts the abundant life Jesus purposed for our lives. Walking in the abundant life God desires for his children requires fighting the good fight of faith (I Timothy 6:12). This spiritual fight in Christ requires an active, intentional life of obedience and spiritual endurance, not just passive belief. I hope that as you read this book you will be encouraged and drawn by the love, mercy, grace, and forgiveness of God Most High through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ, and receive healing through living a life of forgiveness.
