It's all in the details

It IS all in the details. Fodor's book not only has pictures to satisfy us visionary's but his descriptions are simple and the book is easy to navigate! If you see a picture of a castle, you will also find directions, a map, information on the culture and history of the area. I should also mention the impecable organization. Each item, be it restaurant, shopping, or attraction, is resourced not just where you find it on the page, but also throughout the book as it pertains to the region, culture, or accomodations. The pages are marked in color to distinguish regions. I think it's an excellent source to study before, a handy companion while there, or just a wonderful addition to your bookshelf! I will definately purchase Fodor's Italy and enjoy the visit, even if only in my imagination!

Fordor's See It Ireland

Nice presentation. Good division of book by sections of the country. Nice pictures. Some nice itineraries. Need more affordable accomodation lists

Fodor's See It Ireland

This guidebook gave brief information about different spots in Ireland. The review on kid friendly stuff was correct, although it did miss some festivals and information regarding visiting Ireland during the bank Holidays in August. The area in the maps & tour suggestions listed in the back helped. Good for people who do want to spend the time paging through the The Fodor's Ireland book which is much more detailed.
