The condition was listed as very good and every single page is marked up and drawn on.

A favorite!

This is a classic telling of the 5Little Monkeys song. We purchased the sturdy board book version and it has gotten lots of use!

book was ordered as "like new" and book was not even "very good" with crushed lower cover and bent board page on interior. I am disappointed.

Great book

My son loves this book. He usually likes to watch the song 5 little monkey so I thought he would enjoy this

Loved it!

Got it for my two year old son and soon became a favorite for everybody. We are raising him bilingual and, unlike other books we have got, the words were carefully chosen to have the same simple lines, fun history in both English and Spanish. Beware... your kid will also want to jump on the bed, though ;-)

Just Like the Song - Very Cute

I know my grandkids love the song (check youtube) and bought this book to help reinforce Spanish for them. It's nicely illustrated & the translations are good. The kids enjoy me reading it to them. Even though the younger child is only 16 months old, she sits very attentively the entire reading. I do recommend this book & would buy it again.

Hilarious!

This is a terrific book. Any book my three year old cousin likes to have read to her more than once is a winner in my book. She's memorized the story to the point that she can recite it even without the book nearby. And she loves the pictures. We have a great laugh and a whole lot of fun whenever we read this book. It's a book that's also been used at a summer reading program I volunteered at one year, and the students thought it was great. They were ages 5-8. This book would be a great addition to a child's library.

Too much fun for bedtime!

Yes, this book WILL get the kids trying to jump on the bed. It's a lot of fun, and much laughing is heard whenever we read it. There is a lot of detail in the pictures - I love watching the doctor, and Mama gives us a great ending! I picked this up when my younger son was asking for us to play "monkeys on the bed" (the rhyme with hand motions)over & over & over - my fingers were tired. We've been reading ever since! Have I mentioned that the board book format is a great, sturdy idea? Definately a good buy, and highly recommended.

memory supports reading

I first read this book to a group of sixteen two year olds. They had a wonderful time echo reading. They were learning and did not even know it. I think books that have expressive, repetitive lines are sensational. I recommend this book for any parent or teacher teaching reading.
