Fire water, a story I was reluctant to tell, is an account of gasoline. It is the reflection of how an inanimate object moved to and fro on the rivers beneath our soil and imposed itself upon our lives. This is a true account of the obstacles my family and I had to overcome due to an unknown enemy. This story has molded me into who I am today. From a little country southern town in Arkansas, living in a simple manner is where it all started. We were poor but managed, living on faith in God and hard work. This is a humble account of where I've been, where I am today, and my dreams for tomorrow. This isn't just my story; it's the story of many people facing trials in their life. It's the story of people who stand in your gap and hold you up when you have nothing left. Fall into this story of a modest life as it weaves in difficulties that, as a family, we cautiously endured. We could all remain victims of our circumstances. What hauls you back from the brink of admitting defeat is a desire, grit, a fire to beat back the hell you've endured. In general, know this. Hard times may break you. They broke us, but they can also make you stronger. This story is about how the enemy from my adolescence taught me how to appreciate the little moments in life. When it was all said and done, I realized sometimes what seems like a curse can, with the right people, lead to unexpected blessings.
