Thrilling Suspense

Grab on and hold tight for this thrill ride that has you wondering if you will make it to the end of the story with your heart intact. This is intense with the earth groaning and having labor pains before the volcano erupts and characters running for their lives without knowing who or why. Great characters who bounce off each other with wit, charm, and romantic tension and a suspenseful storyline has you engrossed from the beginning. You will feel like you are racing for your life alongside them as it feels that real. This book is high octane fuel driven and you cannot turn pages quick enough to find out what happens next. I loved the addition of trying to keep a baby safe and guessing where is the mama. I have to say this is now my favorite book by this author and I’m excited to read what is next in the Elements of Danger series. You won’t want to miss reading this one. Great Suspense

Fire Mountain by Dana Mentink is the first book in her Elements of Danger series. Kit Garrido drives a big rig. She awakens in her crashed truck with no memory of what happened, an abandoned baby along for the ride and a volcano about to erupt. The nail-biting suspense is just getting started! This is the beginnings of an explosive new series. Future installments are sure to be an adrenaline pumping roller coaster ride! I received this book from Celebrate-Lit for my honest review.

Intense danger from multiple directions

A woman truck driver, an abandoned baby, and a former police officer must find safety from some bad guys in the midst of an imminent volcanic eruption. With the area under evacuation, there is almost no one else to help them. Earthquakes, landslides, ash, noxious gases, and other precursors to an eruption make escape treacherous but do not keep their pursuers from repeatedly finding them. Can these two strangers protect the baby and find a way to safety? This is an intense story of non-stop danger, intrigue, and unwanted attraction. I highly recommend this edge-of-your-seat nail-biter. I received an advance digital copy to read and all opinions expressed are mine alone.
